820 Step ups a 70 lb Heavy Bag = A Brutal Workout!

Today I completed 820 step ups  while shouldering a 70 lb
heavy bag  using a 15 ” bench in 1 hour, the bag NEVER left
my shoulder.

This was a brutal test of physical and mental toughness, shouldering
a heavy bag is unstable and unbalanced making it hard to control.

A weighted back pack or weight vest is not the same as shouldering
something that is unbalanced and unstable.

I originally wanted to complete 600 and at 43 minutes I got tougher and
meaner and decided on 700 then 750 then I told myself I will get 800
step ups in 1 hour and finished at 820!

This builds the type of strength what I call working man strength and it will
build a strong body that you could never imagine. The reason people will not
try this type of training or at least most, they either feel that  it will not work, it’s
not cool enough looking, it won’t build a big set of arms.

Anyone that has carried anything on their shoulders knows that it takes
balance and the body and balance is easily thrown off balance now think
stepping up and down 820 times and think about how stable the body has to
become.

Weighted step ups or weighted carries for long distance or time
is not for the weak minded man who will quit the first sign of pain,
because the will come fast!

Give it a try and let me know how brutal you have been tested!
