Sometimes I wonder why I put myself through the workouts I do, and then
I remember why. Their is something about accomplishing something every
day that builds on the rest of the day. So many people do nothing through the
day to improve their lives, either they don’t care, are to lazy, or just don’t know
any better.
Some people hate me and my blog posts because they say I’m judgmental
and I should be helping fat people instead of targeting them. Why should
I be helping anyone who doesn’t look like they want to help themselves?
People that care about themselves don’t ride on scooters filling the basket
with cases of soda. These people have come to their own limitations that it’s
easier to be fat then work hard and make a small change that may change their
life. Is it my business? No. But it becomes my problem when I continually
hear about how being fit is “Fat Shaming” or when a fat girl is wearing a bra
and underwear and she gets comments like “You are so Beautiful” or “You
are a hero” and I’m supposed to sit and listen to others opinions?
Hey I’m a obnoxious loud mouth who has spent his life around blue collar
men who were on constant ball breaking duty, if you couldn’t handle it you
did something about it or quit.
But today things have changed and so has men and not many men have
spent as much time around the blue collar trade like I have for over
30 years and to survive you had to have a thick skin and be able to handle
yourself because the weak minded where soon weeded out.
Men can tell you how they can handle it but I have seen time and time again
men CAN’T handle it! Most blue collar men can care less about the feelings
of others, you’re having a bad day who cares, your wife left you who cares,
and then get your balls busted. And you know I have come to enjoy the
process. You get offended you might step outside for a little throw down.
My point is if you are easily offended who cares, being called an “Asshole”
doesn’t hurt when you know your an “Asshole” but my physical and mental
training has kept me alive and well in this environment.
I have seen it many times a tough guy that walks into a blue collar
type environment get their balls busted and cry like a little bitch and
quit days later. It’s easy to survive pretending your are a tough guy
in an office full of women.
