Superhuman Conditioning, The Blue Collar Way!

I doesn’t take long to get in an effective training workout that will build strength and almost superhuman conditioning.

By superhuman I mean, compared to today’s degenerate weak society, the way people people live their lives, it is not hard to be superhuman!

People that think driving to a gym to walk fast on a treadmill is a workout that is more superior to opening your door and walking fast outside is stupid!

These people act educated, buying a membership, driving to the gym to walk is lacking common sense!

I was fooled in the past into thinking a commercial gym was the way to getting strong, never realizing just living a physical active life of sports, and a blue collar mentality was all I needed.

Do you think men and women who pay a trainer to have them flip big tires in public is something the average man can’t do?

I would load and unload multiple 48′ trailers full of truck tires a day, in the summer!

Do you think people need to pay a trainer to push a weighted sled in a public parking lot?

You can push your car in an empty parking lot.

More and more people pay money to do manual labor style work, but look down on actual blue collar worker.

Many old time fighters were blue collar laborers and give credit to their strength and conditioning to manual labor.

Fight trainers that tell you fight training for strength is different than blue collar work, yet many fight trainers condition their fighters with blue collar style training!

Today’s training is so contradictory it’s sad!

A simple weighted Step up workout combined with a few explosive heavy bag throws are primal, meaning the movements are primal!

A workout:

100 Step ups.

10 Explosive over the shoulder throws.

Step ups a couple of dumbbells, back pack, weight plates, a rock etc.

Something sturdy to step up on.

Leg should be almost parallel when on the bench.

And a heavy bag to explosively throw.

10 Step ups / 1 heavy bag over the shoulder throw.

Repeat for 10 rounds as fast as possible.

Hell yeah! With new commercial gyms, people are getting weaker.

  2. Earn your meals through physical activity! This is fitness wisdom genius. I have come around to this type of training. I walk briskly for 10 minutes, then do 50 pushups and 50 crunches, and repeat this twice more, making a total of 30 minutes brisk walking and 150 pushups and crunches.. This routine works for an old codger like myself, being a young 78. Keep up the great articles, Johnny. It’s great to know that there is at least one fitness guru out there who tells it like it truly is.

  3. I forgot to say that I do this before breakfast, and sometimes throughout the day I will walk 10 minutes and do a set of 50 pushups and crunches before lunch and dinner. It works for me!

  4. Bob at 78 you are what and who we should inspire to be!

    Thank you!

  8. @ Bob when I getto your age I hope to be doing half the stuff you’re mentioning.

@ Johnny good stuff you write! But be nice to the gym goers of today. They are trying to get their thumbs stronger. With all that texting and social media it’s helping them move their fingers faster lol
