2,500 Bodyweight Squats and No Excuses!
I talk a lot about training when you can and where ever you can. We
are tricked into thinking that we need some type of equipment to get
in a brutal workout. Years ago I put the weights down, dropped
my bodyweight 85lbs lighter and got physically fit, and I do it
everywhere possible.
Today I squeezed in 2,500 Bodyweight squats while putting in a 10 hour
work day of lifting, pulling and pushing and didn’t make any excuses
got all 2,500 squats done before the day was over, the goal was to
do all 2,500 squats before I ate anything through the day.
The rules, No food, 2,500 bodyweight squats and water. That was all
I allowed myself all day. Just water!
People would be surprised if they just set a goal and did the smallest
thing to reach the goal. It’s nothing for me to take lunch walk at into a
field and squat non stop of 30 minutes. We have to discipline ourselves
if we want to be great at anything.
Life is tough and getting tougher, and if we’re not always looking for ways
to push ourselves mentally and physically harder and farther than before
we will eventually end up mental and physical wrecks!
