If you get up in the morning tired and need a quick pick me up
the best way to get energy is a quick bodyweight workout.
All my life I have trained before work and it has always had a great
effect on me, better attitude, a feeling of getting it out of the way so
I can focus on the next task at hand.
Your early morning training can be as simple as 25 or 30 pushups
just to get the blood flowing I like to train for about 5 to 10 minutes
to get a little sweat to get the body warm and energized.
Don’t start the day with complicated workout programs, just keep
it simple. No one wants to start the day and dread a complicated
“I have to think about it” workout in, then it becomes a chore.
A quick workout can be as simple as jumping jacks, pushups and
bodyweight squats just for 5 minutes will work wonders.
Try an early morning pick me up of exercise and see how it
effects the whole day.

Good advice John. I think I have been trying to plan too much before work – trying to make workouts too long and complicated. I’ll take your advice and try to limit to 15-20 minutes of kick ass training and see how I improve. Keep writing! Love your site and your articles. Mike
