No Bumper Plates? No lifting belt? No fancy training clothing?
FUCK!
Most men are sucked into the “Who ever is the most ripped I follow his program”
bullshit! These guys will talk on forums about outliers who train and have for
a lifetime who keep getting results, while others scream injury and I’m on a De load training protocol!
De load is code word for “I DON’T FEEL LIKE TRAINING HARD”
In 37 years of training I have NEVER been exposed to that term “DE LOAD”
If I was tired I just changed it up, didn’t need a new gym term, but I guess only
really strong guys are allowed to use that term!
The best thing I ever did is to stop paying attention to traditional strength and physical fitness
“wisdom” I don’t want to read main stream fitness magazines with a Hollywood brain dead zombie
on the cover pushing the same old fucking workouts, like the forearm plank, the kettle bell swing,
the rotating pushups, it is all training incest!
FUCK TRAINING from today’s effeminate Hollywood males!
Put a queer on the cover with a prison rape body and other weak males buy it in hopes of building a
six pack of abs so they can get laid, all the time eating a vegetarian based diet heavy on the soy!
All while thinking eating a greener diet and saving the planet as if they are some fucking superhero and it
is going to get them laid from some feminist hippie chick, who thinks underarm hair is equality!
You don’t need much of anything to train, just fucking guts, and the will to get nuts,
don’t worry about the dog behind the fence, worry about the man behind the fence!
Men have NEVER needed traditional training facilities they like the pain of training for strength,
real physical fitness, they don’t train for the the internet fan boys who suck on the balls of their
ripped bodied hero’s
Give me the backyard dweller or the garage gorilla any day, over the man that drives to the gym
does some bench pressing and later talks about how he needs more cardio. If you talk cardio
and NOT conditioning, you are probably hanging out in an environment that pushes feminism!
Just FUCKING KILL yourself NOW, and leave the men to do their job, of fucking up the
weak as fuck “gym culture”
If this training offends you , you will always be weak physically and mentally!
So because we are in the holiday season, you should quit training, buy some faggot skinny jeans, put
on your Christmas sweater, dress your little dog in a gay dog sweater and take him to the mall to get
a picture with Santa Clause!
Johnny Grube
I always train hard, fuck the gyms that believe lifting free weights, using fancy machines, and dieting is the way to go. I LITERALLY BUST MY ASS EVERYDAY TO TRAIN, EVEN WHEN TIME’S RUNNING SHORT. For example, while I was waiting for something, I would do 500 dips just to pass time. Seems like everyone thinks there isn’t time to train. They use bullshit excuses: “I don’t feel like going hard” “I am sore” “I am tired” “I feel too stressed” guess what to all weak guys who use these excuses that has been used for years: FUCK YOU!!!! Who cares?? Just get it over with. I did 200 knuckle push ups in one go, and still adding the numbers as a result of my rising levels of fitness. Even though I am on break as of right now, That gives me an opportunity to focus more on my training.
Train to DESTROY!!!!!!!!!
Fuck yea all that’s needed is a yard , basement , or room in the house . I make it happen anywhere ! Training isn’t about being pretty it’s about getting down and fucking dirty ! Good post John . Keep them coming
Also, fuck progression exercises such as progressing your way to doing one arm work. Although it is impressive, conditioning matters with strength, because like Johnny Grube has said, “Strength alone won’t help you get far.”
@Marovsky
I agree wholeheartedly on that
Our ancestors were way tougher than we are and had no gyms.
@Glen MacCharles
100% truth
@Glen MacCharles
Also, they didn’t worry about supplements, magazines, and other types of gimmicks that the fitness industry has implanted onto society.
And John, I agree with the part about men being caught up with the programs that will get them “most ripped”. It seems like men only train for the sake of VANITY, not for function. Now they wanna know why they are not capable to be strong. Too bad they had to be exposed to bullshit and conformity
Right – moldy cellar and a couple of pieces of iron is all equipment i need for my training.
I think I tweaked my back watching those videos. Terrible form 0_O
The superman push-up (and the Plank too) is an extremely dangerous move @pet’. It’s very likely to hyperextend the back, and then add even more weight on top of that. Even the gymnastics bridge is safer (same hyperextension, but gravity isn’t forcing it) haha. So bruh please be careful I really mean that.
here´s something funny for all superman push ups lovers. this is a quote about superman push ups, wich have been posted on the strong first forum for the first time, like its a new exercise and videos of johnny have been used. the focus on the right form is hilarious;-)
so here is the quote:
“I trust you because you’re very strong but I’ve never seen a single person do one correctly. Even Jack Lalanne did them with atrocious form. Pavel has a decent shape in Bullet Proof Abs, but still a good bit of arch. I think the exercise was taken out in Hardstyle Abs though, which is a good call (IMO anyways) by him. Probably not something most people should be trying out.
The Ab Wheel is safer as you already start in PTT. The Superman, by virtue of starting touching the floor, starts arched and you have to un-arch. That little ROM there, I’m afraid of :/
Good luck with it and let us know how it goes!”

sorry about the first post. send it too early.
@Chuck
I have been doing isometric work, trying to hold as long as my muscles can allow, also pushing past pain. What do you think about this regime?
@Marovsky
Isometric training definitely has its place for sure. I use to do alot of it back in the day . I definitely gotta start incorporate it again
@Chuck
I timed myself to hold the horse stance for 5 minutes. I completed it and my legs burned like hell.
@troy
If they think injury, they get injury, that’s how you know they are weak. Also who cares about form or range of motion, all that matters is that you DO what needs to be DONE. Form and range of motion is just a gym term, it never applied to real life, to hell with those guys who make fun of Jack Lalanne, this guy would come back alive and beat their ass if they keep talking shit about his way of training (metaphorically).
@marovsky:
yeah, right!!! i never got injured doing superman push ups. well, different strokes for different folks.
how´s your training going?
@troy
My training is going good, did 200 push ups without stopping and 5 minute horse stance hold. I am getting tougher, meaner, stronger, and more deadlier.
@Marovsky
great!
i´ve been doing push ups and squats (one limb version). we use different weapons but share the same philosophy!
Good!
@troy
Yep!
